Charming chai

Inspired by my friend @mcguire_heather_ I mixed this for a Sunday morning start.
Creamy, smooth and light, this is a dairy and refined sugar free version of an old favourite.
A great way support gut and digestive health and therefore immunity without sacrificing taste and satisfaction.
Unlike me, don't leave the stones in the dates or you'll spend Sunday cleaning the kitchen.

Here's how:
300ml Oat Milk
1/4tsp freshly grated ginger
1/8 tsp cinnamon
100ml of water
3 medjool dates
Simmer together on a low heat for 5 minutes.
Add a sachet of loose tea or a tea bag and infuse according to taste. (I use Barry's decaf)
Remove the tea and blend.
As the hail bounces off my terrace this is a warming way to start my day.

(you can replace the tea with an espresso if coffee is your buzz)
